Black-and-White Images of Flowers in High-Resolution

White iris in black-and-white (1/800 F/2.8 ISO 125) ^ 1200×1200

This picture had enough contrast to make a potential b/w image. Removing the colour enhances the drops of water. Some of the background fits with the silhouette of the iris, too.

The back view offers a centred misty or fog-like environment similar to what you might imagine on a summer morning after an overnight rainfall. It adds some mood to the scene.

I generally avoid back-view shots of irises when the new and unopened bulb takes centre stage unless there’s something else the shot offers. At least the bulb here is clean and neat.

Back of a Daisy (1/800 F/2.8 ISO 160) ^ 1200 x 800

6:30 am. It looks like a night shot but this is how it turned out at the start of the day. I was searching for macro images with water droplets. This one had mini droplets all around the edges like beads. Simple but elegant.
